Open-Enrollment Programs

Before a program begins, the Mediation Training Institute (MTI) at Eckerd College incurs substantial administrative costs related to your registration. Therefore, the following fees apply:

Cancellations occurring more than 30 business days before the program start date. 100% of program fee
Cancellations occurring within 15-30 business days of program start date. 50% of program fee
Cancellations occurring less than 15 days before the program start date. None
Any remaining balance of a cancelled program’s payment can be applied to another MTI program within one year of the original program date. After one year, that balance is non-refundable.

Please note that by registering for a program offered by the Mediation Training Institute, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Refund, Transfer and Substitution Policies.

Products and Assessments

Eckerd College’s MTI refunds clients 100% for returned assessments within 30 days from its original purchase excluding shipping costs.

After 30 days, we will charge a 25% restocking fee of the total price of the instruments returned. To request a return, call Customer Service at 1-888-359-9906 or email cdp@eckerd.edu.

Product returns will be accepted on the following conditions:

Paper instruments:

  • They are in good condition and in complete sets (i.e., no missing forms, booklets, etc.)
  • They are returned to MTI within 60-days of the original purchase date.
  • They are accompanied by a copy of the original invoice.
  • Shipping costs are paid by the client.

Online instruments:

  • The instruments have not been accessed by the participants or their observers.
  • The return is completed within 60 days of the original purchase date.
  • Development guides that are included with the online instrument are returned by the client.
  • Shipping costs are paid by the client.
