The Center for Creative Leadership publishes Ideas Into Action Guidebooks on a variety of topics.  These 30-page, small format booklets include specific, practical advice for dealing with the topic at hand.  Several have self-assessment tools that help with the learning.

Most Guidebooks are $11.95 each, but there is a Conflict Guidebook Package for $19.95 that includes three titles:

  • Managing Conflict with Peers
  • Managing Conflict with Direct Reports
  • Managing Conflict with Your Boss. 

There are several Guidebooks related to feedback that also may be useful including Ongoing Feedback:  How to Get It, How to Use It, Giving Feedback to Subordinates, and Feedback That Works:  How to Build and Deliver Your Message.  You can find Ideas Into Action Guidebooks at www.ccl.org/publications.
