Getting Certified
Since the trainer's role is important to the value of the Becoming Conflict Competent (BCC) course, we require that the instrument be administered only by certified professionals.
Qualifications for Certification
- Bachelor's Degree
- Organizational experience in training, human resources, organizational development or conflict management
- Complete certification on the Conflict Dynamics Profile® instrument
- Complete three day Becoming Conflict Competent training course
- Complete training sessions in accordance with BCC agreement
Results
By attending the BCC training program, participants:
- Gain an understanding of the key principles, tools and processes underlying the BCC course
- Learn how to conduct training on the various modules of the course
- Learn practical applications of the course and how to assist participants in their skill development
- Become eligible to purchase and teach the BCC course
Special Features
Each participant has the opportunity to take the Conflict Dynamics Profile and receive an individual feedback report. As part of the certification process, each participant receives:
- BCC participant binder
- BCC instructor manual
- BCC skills mats
- CD containing slideshows to use in training
- CDP certification materials
