The Center works with consultants, trainers, coaches, and conflict management specialists who are certified in the use of the Conflict Dynamics Profile to develop new programs and products which help organizations and individuals manage conflict more effectively. Current Initiatives
Conflict presents challenges to people in all fields. The Center in collaboration with its members and affiliates will explore new approaches to effectively addressing conflict so that organizations in different fields will be able to benefit from the opportunities inherent in conflict while at the same time reduce its harmful effects. Two of our initial efforts will be in the areas of health care and education. Check this page regularly for new developments in these and other initiatives.

Health Care Initiative
The Center is working with three CDP certified users to develop a comprehensive offering for health care providers that would include conflict management design and implementation services, training for nursing and other staff that incorporates the CDP, coaching, and alternative dispute resolution services. In the near future, we will provide details on the program and information about how to use the services.

Higher Education Initiative
The Center is collaborating with Dr. Michael Murphy, a former college president, to expand the use of the CDP in higher education contexts. We are also working on a modified version of the instrument that will be customized for educational settings.
Conflict Dynamics Network
The Center is creating the Conflict Dynamics Network, a group of highly qualified consultants, trainers, coaches, and conflict specialists from around the world, who participate in the delivery of conflict management programs and services to a wide range of organizational clients. Conflict Dynamics Profile
The Conflict Dynamics Profile, an assessment instrument dealing with conflict behaviors in the workplace, provides a powerful way to improve self-awareness of what triggers conflict in individuals as well as how they respond to conflict. Based on these triggers and responses, the Conflict Dynamics Profile then provides practical approaches for improving behaviors that promote more effective workplace conflict resolution.
